Hello!

Bay Area native Carina Wu holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a minor in Piano Pedagogy from Oberlin Conservatory and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Maryland. Her major teachers include Dr. Sharon Mann, Angela Cheng, Dr. Andrea McAlister, and Larissa Dedova. Carina has attended numerous summer festivals including Orford Musique, Bowdoin International Music Festival, The Banff Centre Piano Master Class, Gijón International Piano Festival, and Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix. She has also performed in masterclasses for renowned artists such as John Perry, Nelita True, Boris Slutsky, Dr. Logan Skelton, and Craig Sheppard.

Carina enjoys a diverse career in teaching, arts administration, and collaborative piano. She maintains a private teaching studio at her home in Fremont. Additionally, Carina works with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College and Continuing Education division as a Program Associate and the collaborative pianist for Los Gatos High School Choirs.
